Jonathan Herrera Soto (b. 1994) holds a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and an MFA in Painting/Printmaking from the Yale School of Art. Recent solo exhibitions of Herrera Soto’s include “Twice the Legal Minute” at Hartford University, “All at Once” at Brown University, and “In Between/Underneath” at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. He is a recipient of the Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship, Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship, Yale Prison Education Initiative Fellowship, and the Distinguished Chair in the Visual Arts at the Hartford Art School. Jonathan has exhibited with HAIR+NAILS in group shows “Together” (H+N Minneapolis, 2024), “Freshly For You” (H+N NYC, 2024), “PAINTING SHOW” (2022), “The Human Scale” (Rochester Art Center, 2022), NADA Chicago Invitational (Chicago, 2019), and his solo show “Always Tomorrow (Siempre Mañana)” (2021).

Rachel Collier (b. 1981) is an artist born and based in Minneapolis. Collier’s work is rendered in expansive color, transcribing ecstatic realms that populate our shared consciousness. Repeated abstract forms anchor familiar psychic landscapes to our physical world, stirring the spirit in preparation for advancement or departure. While referencing the languages of maps and topography, her compositions deconstruct from the grid to imagine transcendent space. Collier has her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and recent exhibitions and publications include HAIR+NAILS Gallery (Minneapolis, MN), Felix Fair (LA, CA), NADA Miami (Miami, FL), Intersect Fair (Aspen, CO), the Nemeth Art Center (Park Rapids, MN), I Love You Too (Portland, OR), TOA Presents (Cody, Wyoming), Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation (Ojai,CA), Rochester Art Center (Rochester, MN), Saint Kate’s Arts Hotel (Milwaukee, WI), New American Paintings, MN Artists. Ginny Sims (b.1977, Little Rock, Arkansas) is a Minneapolis-based painter and ceramics sculptor. While she has a strong traditional crafts background, her work often deviates from those strict norms and expectations, pushing the medium into places where function and expression are combined. Sims apprenticed with potter Mike Dodd in Somerset, England and has participated in residencies and internships at Red Star Studios in Kansas City, MO; Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, CO; and at the Women’s Studio Workshop in Rosendale, NY. Ginny has worked at potteries in Centola, Italy, and Isle of Iona, Scotland. Sims has exhibited at numerous galleries in the US and Europe, including solo shows at Nationale (Portland, OR); HAIR+NAILS (Minneapolis, MN); Carbondale Clay Center (Carbondale, CO); 0fr (Paris, France); and White Page (Minneapolis, MN). Her work has also been shown in The Shop Floor Project in Cumbria, England through Tiwa Select based in NYC and in a three-person show with Dana Schutz and Ryan Johnson at Nemeth Art Center, MN in 2022. Sims has been featured in The Financial Times, The World of Interiors, and Architectural Digest Italia. Ginny Sims has been the recipient of numerous grants including Jerome Foundation Study and Travel Grant (2016), Jerome Ceramic Artists Project Grant (2013, 2019) and a McKnight Fellowship for Ceramic Artists (2022). Most recently she was awarded a 2025/26 Rome Prize fellowship in the field of Design.

Emma Beatrez (b. 1995, New Prague, MN) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Minneapolis. They graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2020 with a MFA in InterdisciplinaryStudio Art and received their BFA with an emphasis in painting at North Dakota State University in 2018. Beatrez is the co- founder/curator at Night Club gallery in St. Paul alongside artist Lee Noble. Solo shows include “Polyester” (HAIR+NAILS NY, 2025), “Device of Love” (Nemeth Art Center, Park Rapids, MN, 2024), “TECHNOLUST 3000” (HAIR+NAILS, Minneapolis, 2022), and “Quarter Turn” (Fierman Gallery, NYC, 2022). Other recent shows include a two-person show at LVL3 (Chicago), and group shows at Enari (Amsterdam), Nathalie Karg Gallery (NYC), Swivel Gallery (Brooklyn), Guts Gallery (London), Anthony Gallery (Chicago) and in collaboration with Lee Noble at the Weisman Art Museum (Minneapolis). Emma Beatrez is represented by HAIR+NAILS Gallery, Minneapolis.
