“We are thrilled to be joining this thriving community of downtown galleries and artists and have been blown away by the outpouring of well-wishes and support we have already received. For our first show we are bringing a densely populated group exhibition of mostly gallery artists from many different backgrounds and using many different mediums. There is a wide range of approaches to art making going on here, but we think the viewer will sense a foundational commonality to the work, a conversation happening between fifteen artists who care about each other and are following each other’s work closely. This survey is meant to introduce the gallery to new audiences and for those who already know of our program, to reinforce what and who HAIRandNAILS is about.”
